Buckinghamshire ENT is an NHS practice offering consultations, tests and surgical procedures to both insured and self-pay patients. Our fees can be found below

New consultation – £280

All new consultations are scheduled for thirty minutes. During this consultation there may be a need to perform additional procedures; there will be an additional charge for this. You will be advised if you need these during your consultation.If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice or do not attend an appointment booked for you, a cancellation fee of £280 will be charged.

Follow-up consultation – £180

Follow-up consultations are scheduled for twenty minutes. During the consultation there may again be a need to perform additional procedures, in particular to monitor your condition or response to treatment/surgery undertaken. You will be advised about the need for this during your consultation; there will be an additional charge for this.

If you cancel your follow-up appointment with less than 24 hours notice or do not attend an appointment booked for you, a cancellation fee of up to £180 will be charged.

Additional tests and procedures – variable costs

During the course of your appointment it may be necessary to perform some tests/procedures to inform your diagnosis and/or treatment. Listed below are the most common outpatient procedures performed by Mr Shukla and their associated cost. Most procedures also have an associated hospital fee; this fee is determined by the hospital and can vary depending on the private hospital your appointment is in. It relates to the cost of equipment and consumables. You can enquire about this price directly from the private hospital.

Procedures

Nasal endoscopy – £180 + hospital fee
Ear microsuction – £120 + hospital fee
Nasal cautery – £150 + hospital fee
Needle biopsy – £150 + hospital fee

Insurance patients

Mr Shukla consults both insured and self-pay patients. Self-referrals are accepted. For self-pay patients, please be aware that your consultation fee does not include any additional tests and investigations which may be required to help diagnose and/or treat your condition. These will be added to your final invoice in addition to consultation fees. Prescriptions (if required) are provided on a private basis following consultation and are not eligible for NHS levy or exemption.
